On October 8, 40 Days for Life-Dallas will host an Outreach Saturday, bringing the pro-life message to the neighborhoods surrounding the Southwestern late-term abortion center. The purpose of the outreach campaign is to reach out to the community at large to educate them about 40 Days for Life and the tragedy of abortion.

The outreach portion of the campaign is actually one of the most rewarding ways you can participate in the pro-life movement.

Every person I encountered was respectful, and I was blown away when many of my neighbors signed up to pray for an end to abortion. Some of them were even thanking me for the work I was doing! 3) Start knocking on your neighbors’ doors.

4) Return the long list of people you have just signed-up to participate in this fall’s 40 Days for Life!

(Smiling) Hello, my name is Steven and I’m here representing 40 Days for Life in our local community.

(Hand them promotional materials) As part of the campaign, we are asking people to take a few minutes a day for the next 40 days to pray for an end to abortion. Would you be willing to do this? – Thanks!

Would you be willing to allow us to send you an email each day of the 40 Day campaign that provides a devotional or prayer intention for the day? – Thanks! What’s your email address? And your name? – Thanks!

You know, Jesus said some evils can only be defeated with prayer and fasting. Would you be willing to fast by giving up chocolate during the 40 day campaign? – Thanks!

Thanks for supporting this fall’s campaign! – Goodbye!
