Executive Director, Catholic Pro-Life Committee

Karen Garnett presented on church activism, including what churches can and cannot do before elections and how parishioners can get involved in the fight for life. 

Jonathan Saenz, J.D.
Director of Legislative Affairs, Liberty Institute

Mr. Saenz discussed how to stay informed and involved at the state level, including maximizing the available resources such as websites and blogs.

Joe Pojman, Ph.D.
Executive Director, Texas Alliance for Life 

Dr. Pojman addressed how the Texas Legislature works, what pro-life bills we can expect in the next legislative session and how to work with your State Senator/Representative.

Additional speakers included Marianna Trzeciak, an attorney who addressed "Why Roe v. Wade Is Bad Law," and Becky Visosky, Director of Communications for the Catholic Pro-Life Committee, who presented on "Efforts at the Local Level."
