Join our Bishops and fellow Texas Catholics at the Capitol in Austin to promote life, justice and peace in 2013 (date TBA).  Check out pictures from the last Catholic Faith in Action Advocacy Day here.

This legislative advocacy day is an opportunity for Catholics around the state to participate in the political process by voicing the concerns of the Texas Bishops.   Participants are invited to visit the State Capitol and advocate for the Texas Bishops’ Legislative Agenda.

With the newly elected legislature, 2013 promises to be an interesting and exciting time for grassroots efforts to further policies protecting the dignity of all persons in accord with Catholic social teaching.   Texas Catholics will present a unified front on one day in support of Life, Family, Charity and Social Justice.

In cooperation with the Texas Catholic Conference, Catholic Charities of Dallas and the Catholic Pro-Life Committee of North Texas are training and organizing groups of faithful citizens in the Diocese of Dallas who are interested in the upcoming advocacy day.   More information coming soon!
