Dear Parish Pro-Life Coordinator,

Greetings and blessings! We had a great meeting Saturday, August 16, with fifty-seven attendees including thirty-five Parish Pro-Life Coordinators. I have mailed the Baby Bank and USCCB Respect Life Program Packets to the coordinators who were not present. Please mark your calendars for our next Parish Pro-Life Coordinator Meeting on Saturday, November 13 at St. Pius X, Dallas.

This event is important enough to bear repeating: The Fall 40 Days for Life-Dallas campaign will run from Wednesday, September 22nd through Sunday, October 31st. The ecumenical, 24-hour prayer vigil will be held outside the Southwestern late-term abortion center, 8616 Greenville Ave., Dallas 75243 (NE corner of Royal and Greenville).  Last October, Curtis Boyd opened Southwestern where he has been killing babies up to 24 weeks (6 months!) of pregnancy.  We don't want any parish to miss out on the opportunity to join the record number of other churches and organizations who have adopted a day to pray on behalf of the precious unborn this fall.  To adopt one of the remaining prayer days for your parish, please email 40days@prolifedallas.org or call campaign co-coordinator Lauren Muzyka, 214-509-7195.  For more information, visit www.prolifedallas.org/40days.  If your parish has already signed up, please be sure to check out the participant documents attached to this mailing and attend the brief "How To" meeting on Thursday, September 9, at St. Rita Catholic Church, 12521 Inwood Rd., Dallas, in the school cafeteria.

Also, you won't want to miss the 40 Days for Life-Dallas Kickoff Rally on Tuesday, September 21st, at 6:30 p.m. at Harry S. Moss Park, 8000 Greenville Ave., Dallas 75231 (SE corner of Royal and Greenville).  We will enjoy inspirational music and a wonderful speaker lineup, including Fr. Paul Weinberger, Pastor of St. William Catholic Church and sidewalk counselor, Aurora Tinajero, CPLC Director of Spanish Ministry and Host of "Celebrando la Vida," and David Bereit, founder and National Director of 40 Days for Life!

In addition, please make note of these upcoming fall events:

• September 11-12: CPLC Fall Baby Bank Campaign begins

• September 24-26: Rachel's Vineyard RetreatTM in Spanish

• October 9: Respect Life Month Quarterly Mass, Adoration and Rosary Procession from St. Patrick in Dallas to Southwestern, followed by the 40 Days for Life-Dallas Midway Rally at Harry S. Moss Park (SE corner of Royal and Greenville) and the first-ever 40 Days for Life Youth Day!

• November 2: 10th Annual CPLC Classic/Bishop's Cup Golf Tournament at Canyon Creek Country Club
