Greetings and blessings! Once again I’d like to thank you for your help and participation in our first “big event” of 2010, the annual Roe Memorial Rosary, Mass, and Dallas March for Life & Rally! It was a great effort and witness by all. Please continue to save Saturday, January 22, 2011, on your calendar for next year’s Roe Memorial events, and encourage everyone you know to do the same!

We now face our next “biggie,” The Bishop’s 17th Annual Catholic Pro-Life Dinner, on Saturday, April 10th, and once again, we need your help and participation for this to be a great success for the cause of life in our diocese!

Your help in these following specific ways will be tremendous: 1) Contact your pastor and ask him how many tables he would like to reserve this year; 2) Be sure to place announcements and insert the dinner flyer in your church bulletin before the March 25th deadline; 3) Ask the Knights of Columbus and leaders of other parish ministries if they will donate and assemble a basket for the Silent Auction; 4) Help spread the word that the grand prize in the Bishop’s Dinner Raffle has been upgraded by Toyota to a brand new 2011 model Camry; 5) Call the CPLC office, 972-267-LIFE (5433), and volunteer to help for whatever needs there are. Remember, many hands make light work! Everyone can do something!

March 17: White Rose 25th Anniversary Mass celebrated by Bishop Farrell at 7 p.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Church
March 25: Feast of the Annunciation; 15th anniversary of Venerable Pope John Paul II’s Evangelium Vitae (The Gospel of Life)
March 30: Launch of "Celebrando la Vida" ("Celebrating Life"), a one-hour weekly live call-in show from 4-5 p.m. on the Spanish Guadalupe Radio Network (KJON 850 AM in North Texas), hosted by the CPLC's own Director of Spanish Ministry Aurora Tinajero!
April 2: Good Friday Pro-Life Stations of the Cross at Southwestern late-term abortuary
April 10: The Bishop’s 17th Annual Catholic Pro-Life Dinner, hosted by Dallas Bishop Kevin Farrell, featuring keynote speaker Daniel Cardinal DiNardo and special guest Abby Johnson
April 17: Quarterly Pro-Life Mass & Procession from St. Jude, Allen, to Northpark abortion center, followed by a talk by Rita Diller, National Director of STOPP (Stop Planned Parenthood International)
