Parish Pro-Life Coordinators Monthly E-Mailer

Greetings and blessings! Thanks to the 40 parish pro-life coordinators, visitors and CPLC staff members who attended the May Parish Pro-Life Coordinators Meeting hosted by St. Mary of Carmel Parish. The next Parish Pro-Life Coordinators Meeting will be held on Saturday, August 14, at St. Mark Parish in Plano. Please mark your calendar. Note: this meeting falls on the Feast of Pro-Life Patron Saint Maximilian Kolbe.

Don't forget to have fun! On Saturday, June 12, we will once again host our Annual Volunteer Appreciation Picnic at the home of Bill and Carol Orender. This is an opportunity for the CPLC to say thanks to anyone who generously offered their time and talent to further the culture of life through our ministries this year. There will be plenty of burgers and hot dogs sizzling on the grill and a certified lifeguard at the pool! Please plan on attending with your spouse and family. See the flyer for details.

Also, be sure to mark your 2011 calendars and save the dates for our two major pro-life events with Bishop Farrell:

The Roe Memorial Events and Dallas March for Life will be held on the 38th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision, Saturday, January 22, 2011; Bishop Farrell will also be marching in the national March for Life with our Youth For Life who are traveling to Washington, DC, on Monday, January 24, 2011;
The Bishop's 18th Annual Catholic Pro-Life Dinner will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2011, at the Hilton Anatole Dallas.
