Volunteer Opportunities

YFL Report Editor
Write and edit the “YFL Report” newsletter 3 times a year. (Fall, Winter and Summer) Usually 4-6 pages long. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Publisher.

YFL Facebook Manager
Responsible for updating YFL group pages and events. Increase membership in groups. Possibly create a YFL Fan page. Working knowledge of Facebook required along with regular communications with the YFL Director and internet access.

TV TRU Presentation Moderator
Recruit youth to be a part of the TV TRU Team. Organize regular meetings and trainings. Update presentation. Promote TV TRU and schedule presentations.

YFL Database Assistant
Learn how CPLC database works and work with Marie Wood and Jacquelyn Smith to keep YFL info updated. Must have internet access. Can work from home after training at CPLC office.

Youth Minister Survey Manager
Create an online survey for youth ministers to determine if Youth For Life is meeting their needs and how YFL can be more effective. Follow-up with youth ministers to have a high completion rate and then format the results in an easy to understand format.

Chaperone/Safe Environment Manager
Help recruit adults (graduated age 18-20) and chaperones (age21+) for YFL events. Work with Betty culling to make sure we have all necessary Safe Environment info on file.

Bookkeeping Assistant
Assist with creation of event budgets, help us stay on budget and assist with financial paperwork.

Chaperone
Attend YFL events where chaperones are needed. Must be Safe Environment Cleared.

Driver
Drive at YFL events where drivers are needed. Must be Safe Environment Cleared and cleared to drive.

Communications
Assist with mailings, e-mails and phone calls to promote YFL and events.
