Youth For Life

Today a new wave of enthusiasm and vitality characterizes the pro-life effort. Young faces appear at every event, a sure sign that the movement is growing not older, but younger. High school and college students and young adults are getting involved in every aspect of pro-life work in greater numbers. Young people are taking this issue seriously and personally. They understand intuitively that life is a gift and, in a just and free society, it is also a right that must be protected.

To guide and give voice to the next generation of pro-life activists, the CPLC founded Youth For Life, a unique, peer-based outreach that involves and educates today's teens. Dynamic young speakers share the truth about such topics as chastity, Christian dating, abortion, and adoption. Since its beginning, YFL has enthusiastically spread the pro-life message to thousands of students in parish schools and CCD classes, high schools, youth groups, and colleges.

Each January, YFL sponsors a group of students to Washington, D.C., or to Austin for the annual March for Life, an energizing and life-changing experience. The YFL Report, a newsletter by and for youth, keeps kids informed and connected.
