New Media Specialist / Officer Manager
Communications Department of the Catholic Pro-Life Committee

A full time assistant position in the Communications Department of the Catholic Pro-Life Committee is available. The New Media Specialist / Office Manager will work out of the CPLC central office near Spring Valley and Midway in North Dallas.

This position reports to the Director of Communications and responsibilities include maintaining social media presence, assisting with website management, video filming and production, as well as assisting with communications to parishes and organizations, event promotion, and coordination of mailing and printing projects.  This position is also responsible for managing the office, including reception, maintaining office supply and equipment inventory, and coordinating IT assistance. 

Key qualifications include

  • Computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
  • Experience with social media outlets (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
  • Website and audiovisual (including videography) experience
  • Above average oral and verbal communication
  • Superior organization and clerical skills
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred (written translations skills a plus)
