Voice 4Life is the young adult outreach of the Catholic Pro-Life Committee. Join Voices 4Life for a morning in service of life at the White Rose Women's Center. We will assist the White Rose Women's Center with cleaning and organizing donations for mothers and babies in need. Morning of service will close with with reflection in the center's chapel, and those interested can enjoy lunch together. Become a Gabriel Angel and learn how to mentor a mother facing a crisis pregnancy. In addition to learning about Project Gabriel, several representatives from the Catholic Pro-Life Committee will spotlight our other ministries and explain how you might get involved at your own parish. The CPLC has an outstanding opportunity for a detail-oriented, outgoing and self-motivated fundraising professional to serve as Development Assistant, a half-time position. This person will work with the Director of Development and half-time Development Officer to help nurture and expand our institutional donor relationships, coordinate fundraising events, and help administer special projects.

Senior Judge John L. Kane of the District Court for the District of Colorado did his Solomon-like duty July 27. The Carter appointee issued an injunction against the government’s Affordable Care Act mandate that forces employers to pay for contraceptives, including abortion-causing drugs, and female sterilization for employees.
The mandate he’s forestalled in Newland v. Sebelius comes from Health and Human Services’ preventive services mandate under the Affordable Care Act. It went into effect August 1. Continue reading

Alleged Colorado theater shooter James Holmes appeared in court today and was charged with 24 counts of murder and 116 counts of attempted murder in the horrific shooting during the opening of the latest “Batman” movie.
