What if Babies Dying from Abortion Were Kids Drowning? Would You Save Them?

by Natalie Brumfield, LifeNews.com

I was a lifeguard at the local country club my senior year of high school. It was the one job I absolutely enjoyed and looked forward to every day. I would never have admitted it then but I loved being the one on watch to protect people, especially the children.

In my entire lifeguard career, I only rescued one little girl. It was the shallow end, her mom was literally an arm's length away from her but was busy talking to a friend. I saw red curls floating around a little face quietly gurgling through the surface of the water. She was so gently drowning that my first thought was that it couldn’t be real, she was only playing, but I quickly got down from the stand to make sure. When I was closer I saw she indeed was drowning. I didn’t even blow my whistle, not wanting to embarrass her mother who was so close.   Continue reading

You Can Help Save Lives During the 40 Days for Life-Dallas Campaign This Fall!

The fall 2013 40 Days for Life-Dallas campaign will be outside of abortionist Curtis Boyd's Southwestern late-term abortion center at the NE corner of Greenville Avenue and Royal Lane in Dallas from September 25 - November 3.  In order for this year's campaign to be a success, we need your help!  Please prayerfully consider the following ways to support the campaign:

> Sign up to pray!  You can adopt a day for your church, small group or prayer community by emailing .  The most current list of adopted and available days may be found here.  Also, you can commit to an hour of prayer outside the abortion center.  We challenge you to adopt at least an hour a week throughout the vigil.  You can make that commitment here.

> Be part of the planning group – We meet every Tuesday through October 29 from 7:00 - 8:15 p.m. at Birth Choice, 8604 Greenville Ave, Dallas.  Anyone interested in helping plan for the campaign is welcome.

> Outreach Team trainings – Take the message of Life to local churches, asking them to participate in the campaign.  Trainings are at Corner Bakery, 7615 Campbell Rd, Dallas and include complimentary breakfast.  Choose either Saturday, August 17, 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. OR Friday, August 23, 8:00 - 9:00 a.m.

> Cast the Vision Meeting – This is a great meeting for anyone who is new to 40 Days for Life-Dallas or wants to learn more about the campaign in general! This is also for those leaders whose groups/churches have adopted a day in the vigil and would love more tips for filling their day with prayer volunteers.  The meeting is Tuesday, August 27, 7:00 - 8:15 p.m., Gaston Oaks Baptist Church (8515 Greenville Ave in Dallas)
