The Bishop’s 19th Annual Catholic Pro-Dinner: That They Might Have Life
April 14, 2012
Irving Convention Center at Las Colinas
5:00 pm  Big Board Auction and Pro-Life Exhibits
6:30 pm  Seated Dinner and Program

The featured program will include a live interview of John Schneider, star of two films released in theaters this year:  Doonby and October Baby (top 10 movie on opening weekend).  Jon Erwin, co-director of October Baby, will conduct the interview, revealing what attracted Schneider to be a part of these two films telling stories rarely found on the big screen.  Also a successful recording artist, John Schneider will perform following his interview.

The theme of this year's dinner – "That They Might Have Life" – is drawn from Jesus Christ's words in John 10:10 that he came so that all "might have life and have it more abundantly," explains Karen Garnett, Executive Director of the Catholic Pro-Life Committee.  "Our ministry's mission to restore respect and legal protection for all human life reflects this eternal promise.  And the taglines of both John Schneider's recent films – that 'every life's worth living' and that 'every life is beautiful' dovetail with our commitment to witness to Christ's abundant love for all people."

Master of Ceremonies for this special evening will be Dr. Marcellino D'Ambrosio, a world-renowned commentator on Catholic issues who hosts the TV show Early Church Fathers broadcast internationally on the Eternal Word Television Network.
