Dear Parish Pro-Life Coordinator,

Greetings to you in this blessed Easter Season!  Christ is risen, Spring is in the air and The Bishop’s Dinner is around the corner!  We are looking forward to seeing so many parishes represented this Saturday as we celebrate 20 years of saving lives thanks to the commitment and sacrifice of so many like you.  It promises to be a spectacular event featuring pro-life champion Dr. Alveda KingIf you have not yet purchased your tickets, click here to reserve them before 5 p.m. today.  And even if you can’t join us on Saturday, you can participate in this special evening by buying raffle tickets for a chance at $15,000 in MasterCard® gift cards!

Also this month is the unique opportunity to be a voice for your faith on Catholic Advocacy Day.  On Tuesday, April 9th, the Dallas delegation will go to Austin to join our Texas Bishops and Catholics from throughout the state to be a voice for the voiceless and advocate on behalf of Life, Justice, Charity and Religious Freedom.  Visit www.dallascatholicadvocacy.org for more information and to register to participate.  No prior experience is necessary, and day-of bus transportation is available.

Please also mark your calendars for the following upcoming events:

As we approach the wonders of Spring and all it has to offer, let us remember, “This is the day the Lord has made” and “let us rejoice and be glad in it!”  How beautiful is the season that brings us new life.  Nature, which has appeared dead these last few months, is now revealing itself once again.  The budding trees and colorful blossoms amaze us.  God shows us His very special love for us as He paints these beautiful landscapes for us to enjoy.  Let us treasure each day as a special gift from God.  Remember yesterday; plan tomorrow; but live today to the fullest.  Let us take time to enjoy His gift to us and, in turn, to thank Him by promoting His Culture of Life!  Let us thank Him, too, for the gift of our new Holy Father, Pope Francis, and remember him and his intentions in our daily prayers.

Thanks for all you do for Life and God bless,

David Carr
Director of Parish Coordination
