The Angels of "El"

St. Michael defend us in battleToday we remember St. Michael, St. Gabriel, and St. Raphael.  The “El” part of their names means “God.”  Michael means “Who is like God?”, Gabriel means “Strength of God,” and Raphael means “Healing of God.”  There isn’t a confraternity of St. Michael any more, but you can still get a scapular and have it blessed as protection against spiritual warfare.

The book of Daniel says: “Michael shall rise up, the great prince, who standeth for the children of thy people…” (Dan. 12:1). Great verse to remember – especially during 40 Days for Life!  We have been wonderfully blessed but also are experiencing spiritual warfare right now.  t. Michael, St. Gabriel, and St. Raphael, pray for us and the children of the people!  And defend us in battle!

The battle against the innocent could not be more clear than in the recent Planned Parenthood exposé videos callously discussing and performing the harvesting of fetal organs.  Cecile Richards, President of Planned Parenthood, is scheduled to testify before Congress today on this very practice. Please pray that the truth will come out!
