7        Protest the Pill Day '08: The Pill Kills Babies

Saturday, June 7 marks the 43rd anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court decision Griswold v. Connecticut. This was the first of many decisions leading to the decriminalization of birth control and abortion, which, in turn, gave rise to the culture of death we live in today. Join American Life League, along with our Pro-Life Wisconsin and Pharmacists for Life International Associate groups, in participating in Protest the Pill Day ‘08: The Pill Kills Babies. Pro-lifers across the country will protest the birth control pill by standing outside of clinics and facilities (especially Planned Parenthood clinics) that distribute this deadly poison. For more information, please visit www.ThePillKills.com. Please e-mail protests@all.org if you plan to participate. CLICK HERE FOR FLYER

9        YFL Pro-Life Boot Camp Planning Meeting for Adults

7:00 p.m., at the University of Dallas, upstairs Hagger conference room.  Pro-Life Boot Camp is from July 25-30 this year.  Last summer the Catholic Pro-Life Committee of Dallas and Catholics Respect Life of Ft. Worth brought together 57 high school youth from Texas and Louisiana to foster within them a love for the Catholic faith and the gift of life, educate them on the Gospel of Life, and empower them to save the lives of babies, moms and dads.  For 2008 our goal is to double the number of youth in attendance and to go national with our promotions.  You can partner with us to make these goals a reality.

Youth attend for just the weekend or stay for the whole six-day event.  Activities include praise and worship, youth-created pro-life skits, prayer time in front of abortion centers in both Dallas and Ft. Worth, community service projects, presentations from top notch speakers on the issues of Humanae Vitae, sidewalk counseling, defending life, abortion, chastity and a post-abortive testimony.  We are looking for adults who can help with the following tasks: Group Transportation, Coordination of Speaker and Youth Travel, Registration, Speaker Arrangements, Environment, Activities and Group Prayer, Promotions, Volunteers, Set-Up and Clean-Up, and Food.  Please RSVP to Jacquelyn Smith, 972-416-9591, or jsmith@prolifedallas.org.
