The CPLC Director of Communications is a full-time position responsible for maximizing current communication technologies and opportunities to educate, unite and mobilize Catholics in the Diocese of Dallas as well as the general public to support and participate in the programs, ministries, initiatives, and activities of the Catholic Pro-Life Committee.
Superior oral and written communications
Knowledge of and professional experience with current communication technologies, including social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc), e-mail marketing software, and website content management
Demonstrated organizational and project management skills
Ability to problem solve, multi-task and prioritize demands
Initiative to recommend and execute timely responses to opportunities and challenges
Other desired skills and experience
Previous marketing experience
Previous supervisory experience
Involvement in pro-life ministry either as staff or volunteer
Media and/or public relations experience a plus
Graphic design training and/or experience a plus
Experience with the following technical tools preferred: Microsoft Suite, including Word, Publisher and Excel; Constant Contact or similar e-communication tool; LiveSite or similar website content management tool
Hispanic Pastoral Ministry
Youth and Young Adult Coordinator
The Hispanic Pastoral Youth and Young Adult Coordinator works to educate the Spanish community on all life issues. Working with Parish Pro-Life Coordinators, many volunteers, CPLC departments and Spanish components of CPLC ministries, the Hispanic Pastoral Youth and Young Adult Coordinator strengthens pro-life awareness and action among the Spanish-speaking.
High school education
Strong organizational and verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish
Ability to work cooperatively
Ability to project manage and delegate responsibility to others for large events
Skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point0, E-mail and Internet usage
The Project Gabriel Assistant position is currently 15 hours per week. The Project Gabriel Assistant supports and enhances the Project Gabriel / GEMS ministry through the training of, and direct interaction with, the Gabriel / GEMS team, Angel volunteers and the clients and families served by the program.
High school education

Verbal and written fluency in English and Spanish
