New Media Specialist

The New Media Specialist is a full time position in the Communications Department of the Catholic Pro-Life Committee. This position works out of the CPLC central office near Spring Valley and Midway in North Dallas. This position reports to the Director of Communications.

Key Qualifications

  • Computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
  • Professional experience with social media outlets (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)
  • Website content management experience
  • Audiovisual (including videography) experience
  • Above average oral and verbal communication
  • Superior organization and clerical skills
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred (written translations skills a plus)

Database Manager

The Database Manager is a full-time position in the CPLC's Development Department working out of the CPLC central office near Spring Valley and Midway in North Dallas. The Database Manager serves as the primary manager and data entry person of CPLC’s donor database software, Raiser’s Edge, conducts data entry and produces standard and special reports and queries., suggests and executes approved policies, procedures and troubleshooting relative to the database.  

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years in data management for a non-profit organization
  • Proficiency in data entry and management in Raiser’s Edge database
  • Knowledge of and experience in mapping data (Crystal Reports)
  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent in computer-related field; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • High level of clerical skill both in speed and accuracy
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and trouble-shooting skills
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office software, including Word and Outlook

Major Gifts and Grants Officer

The Major Gifts and Grants Officer is a full-time position in the CPLC's Development Department working out of the CPLC central office near Spring Valley and Midway in North Dallas. The Major Gifts and Grants Officer serves to secure funds for the organization by identifying, cultivating, and managing a portfolio of qualified donors.  Additionally, the MGGO will manage all grant funding applications for foundation and corporate giving beginning with prospect identification through application and project reporting as required.

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum three years’ experience in major gifts fundraising with a track record of building relationships
  • Ability to communicate professionally and persuasively
  • Excellent analytical, time management and organizational skills
  • Clear, concise writing skills reflecting full command of English language and grammar
  • Prior experience in grant research and/or writing strongly preferred
  • Ability to work effectively on a team, with initiative to problem solve and prioritize
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Proficiency in reporting and data management and Microsoft Office software
  • Willingness to travel, locally, and attend occasional evening and weekend events
  • Proficiency in Spanish a plus
