Write and edit the “YFL Report” newsletter 3 times a year. (Fall, Winter and Summer) Usually 4-6 pages long. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Publisher.
Responsible for updating YFL group pages and events. Increase membership in groups. Possibly create a YFL Fan page. Working knowledge of Facebook required along with regular communications with the YFL Director and internet access.
Conductors help lead the Not So Underground Railroad - Youth Movement to Abolish Abortion. Conductors must be in 11th or 12th grade. Time commitment will be 2-3 meetings per month plus monthly events. Responsibilities will include skit and prayer prep, event set-up, and training to give pro-life presentations to parish youth groups. Apply here.
Learn how CPLC database works and work with Marie Wood and Jacquelyn Smith to keep YFL info updated. Must have internet access. Can work from home after training at CPLC office.
Create an online survey for youth ministers to determine if Youth For Life is meeting their needs and how YFL can be more effective. Follow-up with youth ministers to have a high completion rate and then format the results in an easy to understand format.
Help recruit adults (graduated age 18-20) and chaperones (age21+) for YFL events. Work with Betty culling to make sure we have all necessary Safe Environment info on file.
Assist with creation of event budgets, help us stay on budget and assist with financial paperwork.
Attend YFL events where chaperones are needed. Must be Safe Environment Cleared.
