Location(s): Mater Dei Catholic Church, 2030 East State Hwy 356 Irving, TX 75060

What will YOU do?

On Sunday, October 28th, 2012, American Catholics concerned with the growing belligerence toward the rights of the Church, the mounting threats to the free exercise of conscience and the impending negative implications of the HHS mandate, are planning to gather around the country for Processions of the Blessed Sacrament in honor of Christ the King. On the eve of the forthcoming elections, through these processions, they will publicly exert the social kingship of Our Lord Jesus Christ and pray for the protection of religious liberty as well as the spiritual well-being of the nation and its leaders.

The call for Public Processions of the Blessed Sacrament was a prescription mandated by His Holiness, Pope Pius XI, in his 1925 encyclical letter Quas Primas, to combat social ills and persecution of the Church. It established on the last Sunday in October the feast of Christ the King to proclaim the rightful temporal rule of Our Lord as the healing balm for broken nations and peoples who abandon God. Pope Pius XI said, "by public adoration of the Blessed Sacrament exposed and by solemn processions, men unite in paying homage to Christ, whom God has given them for their King. It is by a divine inspiration that the people of Christ bring forth Jesus from his silent hiding-place in the church, and carry him in triumph through the streets of the city, so that he whom men refused to receive when he came unto his own, may now receive in full his kingly rights."

Will you join Americans on Sunday, October 28th in prayerfully marching in Processions of the Blessed Sacrament so as to save America from the current perils that besiege it?
