University of Dallas Ministry Conference

Sponsored once again by the Dioceses of Dallas and Fort Worth, the 2011 conference stands to bring in over 6,000 Catholic faithful from the two dioceses and the surrounding area.

The conference will feature His Eminence Francis Cardinal George, OMI, Archbishop of Chicago and past president of the USCCB, as the Friday morning keynote speaker. The event will also feature session tracks specifically designed for teachers, catechists, and general Catholic audiences, including talks on faith, parenting, and social justice.  Sessions will be offered in English, Spanish, and Vietnamese.  Among the speakers this year will be Sheree Havlik, Director of the Catholic Pro-Life Committee’s Speakers Bureau, who will be presenting “Teens Standing Strong in a Sex-Crazed World” (Friday, Session IV, 3-4 p.m.; Saturday, Session VI, 10:15-11:15 a.m.) and “The Five Non-Negotiables” (Friday, Session V, 4:30-5:30 p.m.; Saturday, Session VIII, 2-3 p.m.).
