The Spanish Ministry sponsors and supports a variety of educational events for the Spanish-speaking community in the Diocese of Dallas, including parish presentations, educational series, and youth and young adult conferences.
The ministry also facilitates Spanish-speaking tracks at CPLC conferences and events, including The Bishop's Annual Catholic Pro-Life Dinner, the annual Roe Memorial Mass, and the Render Unto Caesar Faithful Citizenship Conference, as well as chastity seminars and bilingual ministry trainings for sidewalk counselors and Gabriel Angels.
The CPLC Spanish Ministry founded, hosted, and helped present the bi-annual Hispanic Congress of the Americas, in collaboration with the Dioceses of Dallas and Fort Worth and the Pro-Life Secretariat of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops. The ministry has evangelized internationally, presenting with CPLC's Project Gabriel at a Week of Life in Madrid, Spain and at a 10-day educational program in Colombia. Hispanic Pastoral Ministry Director Aurora Tinajero has also helped lead a pro-life tour of the Holy Land.
