Project Gabriel provides practical help to women who have chosen life. Help comes in the form of a Gabriel Angel who supports the mother’s choice for life through prayer, ongoing friendship and encouragement, and referrals to parish/community resources. Mothers who request a Gabriel Angel are referred from the White Rose Women’s Center, Birth Choice, other Christian pregnancy resource centers, maternity homes, parishes, and the 972-BABY-DUE 24/7 helpline.

As a Gabriel Angel, you will bring hope, comfort, and friendship to a woman in your community during her pregnancy. Your support witnesses to the value of both the unborn child and the mother who chooses life for her child (learn more).

 Gabriel Angel Training 

The next Gabriel Angel Training in English s on September 14th, 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., and September 15th, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., St. Monica Catholic Church (Family Center Lower Lounge Room #109)

Become a Gabriel Angel and learn how to mentor a mother facing a crisis pregnancy. All meals and materials are provided.  Learn more.  Attendance at both sessions is required, including the commissioning ceremony at the 5:00 Vigil Mass at St. Monica on September 15th.   

NOTE: Safe Environment clearance is required to be paired with a mom, but it does not have to be completed in order to be trained. If you have already taken safe environment training through the diocese of Dallas, please make sure your clearance is current. A Safe Environment clearance must be updated every year. If you are not safe environment cleared through the diocese of Dallas, contact your parish or school safety director to begin the process.

Entrenamiento de los Voluntarios Ángeles Gabriel en español, 18 de mayo, 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., y 19 de mayo, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. en la Iglesia Católica St. Ann (biblioteca). 

La inscripción para la capacitación del 18 de mayo ya está cerrada.

Como un Ángel Gabriel usted traerá esperanza, asistencia y amistad a una madre necesitada durante su embarazo. Su apoyo tanto al niño aun por nacer y a la madre que elige darle la vida a su hijo atestigua al valor de la vida humana.  (Aprenda más). Asistencia a las sesiones de seguimiento los días 18 y 19 de mayo es requerido al igual que al comisionamiento de Ángel antes la Misa de Vigilia el 19 de mayo en la capilla de la glesia Católica St. Ann a las 5:00 p.m. (Debe ser bilingüe.) 

Próximo entrenamiento de los Voluntarios Ángeles Gabriel en inglés, será anunciado después.

NOTA: Para que se le asigne una mamá Gabriel, se requiere tener el Ambiente Seguro y que esté activo. Si ya ha tomado la capacitación para obtener el Ambiente Seguro a través de la Diócesis de Dallas, asegúrese de que esté actualizado. El Ambiente Seguro debe renovarse cada año. Si no ha tomado la capacitación para obtener su Ambiente Seguro a través de la Diócesis de Dallas, comuníquese con el director de seguridad de su parroquia o escuela para comenzar el proceso.
